1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FlowMason software, services, or documentation ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

FlowMason provides workflow infrastructure software for building, debugging, and deploying AI-powered pipelines. The Services include open-source libraries, command-line tools, VSCode extensions, and related documentation.

3. Software Provided "As-Is"

Important Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

4. AI Output Responsibility

FlowMason is infrastructure software that orchestrates AI model calls. You are solely responsible for:

  • The prompts you create and send to AI models
  • Evaluating and validating all AI-generated outputs
  • Any downstream actions triggered by AI outputs
  • Compliance with your AI provider's terms of service
  • Ensuring AI outputs are appropriate for your use case

AI model outputs are probabilistic and non-deterministic. FlowMason does not control, review, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or appropriateness of any content generated by AI models through our software. You should implement appropriate safeguards, human review processes, and validation logic for your specific use case.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FLOWMASON, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not FlowMason has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Use Restrictions

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Process data you do not have rights to process
  • Build systems that make autonomous decisions in safety-critical domains without appropriate human oversight
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls

7. Third-Party Services

FlowMason integrates with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and other services. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. FlowMason is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party services.

API costs: When you provide your own API keys, you are responsible for all charges incurred with those providers. FlowMason does not bill or mark up third-party API costs.

8. Performance Benchmarks

Performance metrics published on this website (throughput, latency, etc.) were measured under controlled test conditions and may not reflect performance in your specific environment. Actual performance depends on hardware, workload characteristics, provider response times, and other factors outside our control.

9. Enterprise Features

Features described as "enterprise" represent available functionality, not compliance certification. If your organization has specific security, compliance, or regulatory requirements, you are responsible for evaluating whether FlowMason meets those requirements for your use case.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlowMason and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
